This travel throw was inspired in part by the design and colorful impressions of the roofs of Paris, a tangle of gray, white and rust. Its design is also inspired by the painting “rue Montorgueil” painted by Claude Monet in 1878.

The piece was made from wool from the Ile-de-France region from herds in Creuse, in the center of France, which is the subject of a program of rehabilitation and upgrading of the wool industry in Auvergne and Limousin Regions, carried by the organization Lainamac. This wool has been associated with a luxury yarn combining merino and yak, giving a fabric with remarkable suppleness and softness.

The creation was exhibited from 13 to 17 October 2020 at the showroom Heureux les Curieux in Paris as part of the Oh! My Laine operation.
